Is there a better combination than Monte-Carlo and the European Poker Tour?
After all, this year will be the 20th year since EPT Monte-Carlo first headed to the legendary Principality on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Two decades later and Monaco is now a mainstay of live poker for the best players in the world. And that’s not just because of the luxurious surroundings.
Nope, there’s more to it than that. There’s arguably the most beautiful poker room in the world – the Salle des Etoiles. There’s the pantheon of greats that can call themselves Main Event champions. And there’s the prize pools that can change a player’s life in an instant.
When you put it like that, there’s no reason you shouldn’t take your seat at the table.
The full schedule will be available soon.

The nearest airport is in France (Nice - Cote d'Azur Airport), which is roughly 22km (about 14 miles) from Monaco. The airport operates daily flights to most of the world’s largest cities, and PokerStars Travel can arrange a transfer for you from the airport to Monaco. There are also regular Rapides Côte D’Azur buses connecting Monte-Carlo with the airport’s terminals.
You can also fly from Nice to Monaco in 7 minutes. Helicopters leave every 30 mins and provide a breathtaking view of the French Riviera. To book your helicopter transfer contact PokerStars Travel, call +34 93 325 6777, or book directly on the BLADE website.
By train: The Monaco-Monte-Carlo station is linked to neighbouring France and Italy, and most international trains will stop here, including the 'Ligure' (which links Marseille and Milan), 'train bleu' which operates between Paris and Ventimiglia, and the famous high-speed TGV between Nice and Paris. A TGV train between Paris and Monte-Carlo takes just under 7 hours.
